The CAN Valve Driver (CVD) is specifically designed to drive high performance current controlled hydraulic valves found in professional maritime and motorsport applications. The CVD will operate via a CAN bus based system to provide a high level of control with very low latency and precise current driving abilities.
The CVD also incorporates two high sampling 12 bit analogue inputs that have separate excitations to allow for dual redundancy in control applications. This reduces not only the wiring complexity but also weight.
Additional onboard control functionality is also possible with the CVD providing adjustable dither in terms of type, frequency and amplitude. The CVD is configurable in the field by the user allowing the CVD to be integrated quickly in a system with a wide degree of adjustable parameters.
