After losing out in 2018, Azzurra secured the services of Artemis Technologies to look at ways to increase round the course boat speed by making targeted changes to the hydro and aero packages. It was a very productive marriage of Azzurra’s sailing skill and knowledge of the class, with Artemis Technologies’ design and optimization tools developed over 7 years of America’s Cup campaigning. The partnership resulted in Azzurra winning the 52 SUPER SERIES championship title in 2019.
